The First of Marshallese May Day Celebrations Invitations
Marshallese communities throughout Hawaii and the Mainland are preparing for their annual festivities commemorating the anniversary of the founding of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Constitution. Local clubs have issued invitations to this year's 31st Constitutional Day celebrations.
In their home nation, Constitution Day is officially commemorated on May 1, but Marshall Islanders living Stateside traditionally celebrate during the Memorial Day weekend to allow for travel and team competition.
Further information about these events and other celebrations will be posted in the news section and Yokwe Online forums over the next two months.
